Purchasing Director

Responsibilities:

  •  Manage the local teams for the purchasing function

  • Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies and policies to meet the company's dynamic business growth and new product development for the markets of Hong Kong

  • Handle from sourcing, purchasing, inventory, supply and demand management

  • Oversee the day-to-day purchasing operation

  • Manage all the materials (food and non-food) supply

  • Identity, evaluate and manage existing and potential suppliers of materials and services to meet the cost, quality and delivery targets

  • Identity, evaluate and manage existing and potential suppliers and vendors to meet the cost, quality and delivery targets

  • Develop and execute the procurement strategy in improving the purchasing function of the group

  • Work closely with all internal departments and operations teams in driving company sales and business performance enhancement

  • Coach, monitor and lead the local team in cost saving and centralizing process

 

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Purchasing management or related discipline is preferred

  • Minimum 10 years procurement and purchasing experience ideally in the food and beverage industry, of which at least 5 years in a senior management role

  • Candidate from F&B catering, retail, FMCG industry is preferred

  • Strong senses of integrity, team player and capable to work

  • Leadership, planning and interpersonal skills

  • Self motivated, able to work under pressure and candidate with highly initiative

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin and English
